About Seek Chocolate Shop
I recently had the chance to try out Seek Chocolate Shop Milk + Dark chocolate subscription, a unique chocolate subscription service. Seek Chocolate Shop is a small chocolate shop founded by Tye Reeder. It is on an important mission to bring the best sustainable and ethical chocolate to chocolate lovers everywhere. They offer two subscriptions to choose from: the Milk + Dark chocolate subscription and the Dark + Dairy-free Chocolate Subscription.
The Chocolate Subscriptions
Both options of the subscription box cost $37.00 per delivery. You can choose the frequency between monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly. Delivery within the United States is charged at a $5 fee. The boxes usually contain 4-5 unique chocolate items.
What’s Inside the January Box?
Inside the January Milk + Dark subscription box, I received a Cacao Tea Kit, Solstice Chocolate 54% Ghana dark milk chocolate, Omnom Chocolate 45% Madagascar milk chocolate, and Omnom Chocolate 66% Madagascar chocolate. It also included a phamplet on the chocolate shop with informative chocolate fun facts and a cute newsletter with upcoming events. Solstice Chocolate was a new chocolate maker to me so that was very exciting.
The Seek Chocolate Shop Cacao Tea Kit
I enjoyed trying out the Cacao Tea Kit, which was put together by Tye and contained cacao husk tea, dehydrated honey, dried lavender, and tea bags. It also included the instructions you will need to make the tea. I made a honey lavender chocolate tea latte with the ingredients and it was so warm and soothing.
Omnom Chocolate Bars
I loved that Tye included the Omnom Chocolate 45% Madagascar milk chocolate, and Omnom Chocolate 66% Madagascar chocolate. I’ve heard so much about Omnom chocolate but have not found it in stores. The opportunity to try two different percentages of chocolate from the same maker and the same cacao origin was also a unique and educational experience.
Is Seek Chocolate Shop Ethical?
What impressed me most about my experience was the attention to sustainability and eco-friendliness. All the chocolate items were packaged in a repurposed box and protected by honeycomb cardboard, which is reusable, recyclable, and biodegradable. Even the personal note from Tye was written on a chocolate wrapper! Most importantly, all the chocolate on the subscription boxes and sold on her chocolate shop website are ethical. They are free from slave and child labor. Tye does her own extensive research to ensure this.

Overall, I would highly recommend Seek Chocolate Shop to anyone looking for delicious, sustainable, and ethical chocolate options.
