What is Seek Chocolate Shop?
Seek Chocolate Shop is a Utah-based chocolate shop that aims to provide sustainable and ethical chocolate to chocolate lovers. The chocolate shop offers a chocolate subscription service as well and offers two subscription options, Milk + Dark and Dark + Dairy-free. Both of these options cost $37 per delivery and can be received monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly. Each box typically contains four to five unique chocolate items, with an additional $5 delivery fee within the United States.
The February Subscription Box
In February, the month of love, I was fortunate to experience Seek Chocolate Shop’s February subscription box. The Milk + Dark box contained four exceptional chocolate bars, all wrapped together in sturdy craft paper and decorated with a gold ribbon and a Seek Chocolate Shop sticker.

- Harvest Craft Chocolate Passion Fruit Blood Orange Oat Milk Chocolate
- Mausi Chocolates Strawberry-infused White Chocolate
- Dick Taylor Chocolate Seasonal Release Chocolate Dipped Strawberries & Cream (I’m so so so excited about this one)
- River-sea Chocolates Angel Food White Chocolate
It was such an impressive selection! I really enjoyed every single bar Tye thoughtfully selected for the February box. I thought all the flavors and molds were perfect to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I liked them so much that I used the chocolate bars to prepare a romantic Valentine’s Day chocolate-tasting experience for my boyfriend.
Harvest Craft Chocolate Bar and Mausi Chocolate Bar
The Harvest Craft Chocolate Passion Fruit Blood Orange oat milk chocolate bar in the February box had a number of dried fruits on the bar. It was sweet and tart with a splash of freshness with a velvety texture. The Mausi Chocolates Strawberry-infused white chocolate bar had a gorgeous, intricate mold and bold color. The flavor tasted like fresh strawberries with a hint of lemon. It was not as sweet as I thought it would be.
Dick Taylor Chocolate Chocolate Dipped Strawberries & Cream
Every bar in the February box was delicious, but my favorite was the Dick Taylor Chocolate Seasonal Release Chocolate Dipped Strawberries & Cream bar. This bar consisted of two layers, 72% Belize single-origin dark chocolate, and Peruvian white chocolate made with Alexandre Family Farm high-quality whole milk and freeze-dried strawberries. The result was a fruity, creamy, and sweet chocolate bar that tasted just like dipping chocolate-covered strawberries in whipped cream.
River-sea Chocolates Angel Food White Chocolate
My boyfriend’s favorite was the River-sea Chocolates Angel Food White Chocolate bar, which used premium cacao beans and real cacao butter to give the chocolate an incredible aroma. The white chocolate had less sugar than typical mass-produced bars, and the complex French vanilla flavor made it seem like there might be cinnamon, cardamom, or ginger in the chocolate. The chocolate bar is currently sold out in the River-sea Chocolate website so I feel so grateful to be able to try it!
Is Seek Chocolate Shop Ethical?
Seek Chocolate Shop is committed to sustainability, and the packaging for their subscription boxes and chocolate orders is eco-friendly. They use repurposed cardboard boxes and biodegradable honeycomb packing paper to keep the chocolate bars intact during shipping.Tye is committed to only selling chocolate from ethical chocolate makers that work with small-scale farmers and cooperatives that prioritize fair wages and sustainable practices. Seek Chocolate Shop’s mission and vision are really admirable. It’s refreshing to see a company committed to doing good in the world while selling delicious chocolate.
Conclusion
Overall, Seek Chocolate Shop’s February Milk + Dark subscription box was a fantastic Valentine’s Day treat. The bars were thoughtfully selected, had stunning molds, and tasted unique. I reviewed the January box last month and really enjoyed it as well! I highly recommend this subscription service to any chocolate lover looking for high-quality, sustainable, and ethical chocolate.
