You also get an artistic postcard inside the packaging from Caputo’s Preservation Program which I thought was quite neat.
River-Sea Gomes 72% Dark Chocolate (Micro-lot Select)
From the micro-lot selection, River-sea Gomes 72% Dark Chocolate presents a tantalizing combination of cherry and sandalwood flavor notes. Gomes, the owner of a 12-acre agro-villa in Northern Brazil, has carefully cultivated 5,000 cacao trees since 2017. The first harvest took place in 2020, and the beans used in this chocolate are a testament to Gomes’ dedication to quality. The meticulous fermentation process employed in the production of this chocolate enhances its vibrant flavor profile. I do have to say that out of all the River-sea chocolate I’ve tried, this was my least favorite. I enjoyed the Angel-Food White Chocolate and Salted Caramel Chocolate bars much more!
